Elia Cantu is amazing as Jada on Days of our Lives. However, when Soap Hub asked her if she could play a different character just for one day, she gave us a great answer and explained it.
Villian
Jada has been through it this year on DAYS so far, and it’s given Cantu a lot to work with as she portrays Jada. However, if DAYS ever did a strange switch-up like Freaky Friday or something (which we could absolutely see happening), Cantu knows precisely which family in Salem she’d love to be part of. “I’d want to be a DiMera,” she said.
“I know EJ’s [Dan Feuerriegel] a guy, but I think EJ or Kristen [Stacy Haiduk]. I think it would be fun to be kind of a villain, or a type like to have something up your sleeve and kind of be a conniving type of character, she explained further. “I think to be part of the DiMeras would be pretty cool.”

Of course, if she were EJ right now, Cantu would be portraying a character who’s in a world of hurt. It would be a unique way to see her act, too. We’d love to see the actress’s villainous side.
Interestingly enough, Cantu also thought this could be a possibility, just like SH did. “You know what’s funny, I could actually [do it] because DAYS does all the things. I wouldn’t be like a super cop. I know it’d be so much fun.”
