Here’s What Will Happen When Leo Spills All on Days of our Lives

Recently, EJ said that Melinda is the only person left on Days of our Lives who knows that Jude is Eric’s child and not his. But Leo is pretty close to figuring it out for himself. The dude is incredibly stupid. But he isn’t stupid. And once he’s the keeper of the great secret, Leo will have no choice but to blurt it out. (Well, first, he’ll do his usual tour of Salem to find out who will pay him for his information, and then, if no one ponies up, he’ll commence with the blurting.) But will it make a difference?

Dumb and Dumber

Has Leo (Greg Rikaart) ever gotten anything right? Ever? (Check out these facts about Leo.) He was terrible at suing Sonny (Freddie Smith). He was terrible at holding onto Dimitri (Peter Porte). He was a terrible friend to Gwen (Emily O’Brien), and he’s even a terrible gossip columnist.

First, thinking that anyone would want to read about Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) hanging out together despite Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) telling them not to — and then not writing about it when they were teens made puppy dog eyes at him.

Math Club

Leo was wrong about how many babies are switched annually (we did the correct math for him here), and every time he uses a Yiddish word, he manages to both mispronounce it and still be offensive.

So even if Leo climbs onto a rooftop and broadcasts the truth about Jude’s paternity with a bull-horn (or, perhaps, a limerick he composed himself), no one is going to give him the time of day. It will be the Leo who cried wolf. Over and over again.

No Excuses

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel), who has his own reasons for keeping the facts a secret, will accuse Leo of trying to blackmail him. Which also happens to be true. He’ll whip out the paternity test they ran back when Nicole was pregnant. He’ll get Melinda (Tina Huang) to arrest the blabbermouth.

Leo will likely go into a self-pitying rant about how, even when he tries to do the right thing, the world is still against him. And he won’t take a moment of self-reflection to consider why he might deserve a bit of karma biting him in the behind.
