Here’s How Gabi Is Saved After Days of our Lives September 17

Connie finally revealed her true self to Gabi in the Tuesday, September 17 episode of Days of Our Lives. Gabi’s “perfect” assistant told her she was the one who stabbed Rafe in the back. And then she proceeded to pull a knife on her. Things aren’t looking good for her. Who will rescue Gabi and be this week’s hero?

Potential Rescuers

Stefan (Brandon Barash): Sure, Stefan and Gabi are on the outs, especially after Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) lied to him about sleeping with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) again. The last thing Stefan said to Ava (Tamara Braun) was, “I don’t care about Gabi’s feelings. And quite frankly, I don’t give a damn what happens to her now.” But if Gabi is in trouble — which she is — he’ll be there.

Jada (Elia Cantu): While Rafe (Galen Gering) would be there for his sister, he’s in no condition to play the hero. But Jada is. And the temporary acting commissioner is already on to Connie (Julie Dove) and her villainous ways.

EJ: EJ turning down Gabi’s second-chance advances was surprisingly mature for him. And as malicious and vindictive as he can be, he’d absolutely show up for somebody who’s in need. In conclusion, if he learns about Gabi’s precarious predicament, he’ll go scorched earth to save the day.

Gabi: Maybe Gabi won’t need anybody to save her and, potentially, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), too. The Gabi Chic CEO is resourceful and never gives up. She can handle Connie with one hand tied behind her back. So, ultimately, she could be her own hero.

Who’s The Hero?

For dramatic purposes, we’d love it to be EJ. There could be a couple of resulting scenarios. First, Gabi would be so grateful, and that could lead to the two seeing if there’s something real between them. On the other side of the spectrum, it could mean peace between EJ and Stefan. It could give Stefan another chance with Gabi, and Stefan would be grateful to his brother for saving the day.

The DiMera Brother War of 2024 desperately needs a reset. They’ve run out of revenge tactics designed to hurt each other (as far as we’re concerned), so maybe EJ being the one to save Gabi will fix things between him and Stefan. Who knows. It could happen!
