Here’s How DAYS Alum Alison Sweeney Is Celebrating Mother’s Day

Days of our Lives alum Alison Sweeny is busy on the sets of her current projects, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t taking time out to acknowledge the moms in her life on Mother’s Day.

Sweeney took to Instagram and shared a beautiful post with cards and what she wrote to the special mothers she knows.

“Mother’s Day is such a special holiday,” wrote Sweeney. “I love having the chance to celebrate the most important women in my life with a beautiful [Hallmark] card and message. #AD To me, it’s all about spending the time to write my mom a note, share a funny memory or favorite joke, or even just a sentimental thought about how lucky I am to have her in my life.

“Each relationship I have with all the different amazing, strong women in my life is unique, so I like to take my time picking out the perfect Hallmark card for each person, and then thinking about exactly what I want to say. I love the whole experience, and knowing how rare it is to get a nice letter in the mail, I love that it’ll be something of a surprise, too. Mother’s Day is coming up on May 12.
