From the beloved Bo and Hope to the fan-favorite Will and Sonny, Days of our Lives has always been home to supercouples. But lately, many couples have been mismatched. Here’s who should truly be together in Salem.
Alex & Stephanie
The second Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) came home to Salem, he knew Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was the girl who would end his bachelor lifestyle. They had a great first run and were about to get a second chance when some on-set sex and a rumored fling with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) got in the way. Stephanie was back together with Philip for all of one week before he destroyed their relationship yet again. Hopefully, this breakup sends Stephanie right back where she belongs, with Alex… unless his actual hookup with Joy gets in the way.
Brady & Kristen
Say what you will about Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (ex-Emily O’Brien), but Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) has always been the woman for him. Kristen brings out a side of Brady that no one else does, while Brady helps balance out Kristen’s villainess nature. Besides, what could possibly go wrong when a Kiriakis and a DiMera get together?
Holly & Doug
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) are so last year… and the year before that. In 2025, Holly needs a man who isn’t so willing to hop into bed with someone else the second after a breakup. She also needs a man who is at her maturity level and lives a little dangerously, just like her. She needs Doug III (Peyton Meyer). The pair already burst with chemistry, and it may not be long before she pulls a Josslyn (Eden McCoy) from General Hospital and dumps the boy next door for the town’s redeemable bad boy.
Javi & Leo
Leo (Greg Rikaart, who recently dished on what he loves most about his character) has been down a rocky romance road in Salem, from coming between Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (ex-Zach Tinker) to falling head over heels for a man who dumped him from prison. But now, Leo isn’t so hated across Salem, and after some much-needed therapy sessions with Marlena (Deidre Hall), he’s finally found himself ready for the real deal in love. Cue in Javi (Al Calderon). Equal amounts sweet and snarky, these two fit like a glove together. If only the vengeful Kerry (Derek Yates) wasn’t getting in their way.
Chad and Abigail
This one is a given. Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail have belonged together from the start. Whether they were young adults in the square sparring over threats like Melanie (ex-Molly Burnett) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) or living it up in Paris together, Chabby will forever be endgame, and nothing Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) says or does or pretends to be willing ever change that.
