On the February 9 episode of Days of our Lives, Eli first messed with Julie’s head, then finally admitted that he, Lani, and the twins would be moving back to Salem. He called the town where he only came to live as an adult and left after a few years “home.” He also said that Jules and Carver were particularly excited for their new locale. So are we. Especially if the story goes in this particular direction.

Key Takeaways

  • Jules and Carver are due for a glow-up.
  • Salem needs a new kid scene.
  • Julie will have another troublemaker on her hands.

Growing Up Is Hard To Do

Jules and Carver were born on Christmas Eve 2020 (poor kids, what a depressing, right before the holidays birthday). Which means they just turned 5 years old.

But, in soap terms, they should be at least twice that age by now, right? That would put them in the same category as Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Rachel (Alice Halsey), which would also place them in Jeremy’s (Michael Roark) 5th-grade class. Which opens the door for all sorts of fun shenanigans!

Pitter Patter of Little Feet

Salem has a teen scene, with Holly (Ashley Puzemis), Tate (Leo Howard), Ari (Marissa Reyes), the rarely seen Aaron (Louis Tomeo), and the always entertaining Sophia (Rachel Boyd). But it would be fun to have a pre-teen scene, too.

Thomas could be the goody-goody nice boy, with Rachel as the brat extraordinaire. But what if she got a challenger in newcomer Jules? With Paulina (Jackée Harry) as a grandmother and Julie (Susan Seaforth-Hayes) as a great-grandmother, the girl definitely has the potential to be a major trouble-maker.

Deal or No Deal?

How fun would it be to watch Julie, a one-time hellion herself, deal with an entitled, spoiled brat? One that even Rachel was afraid of? So far, Rachel’s modus operandi is to basically come on like a bulldozer.

But what if Jules were smoother than that? The classic mean girl who can pull the wool over any adult’s eyes? Sort of an Eddie Haskell for the 21st century… but better? Will Julie be fooled… or will she know a bad girl when she sees one… because she used to be one herself? Takes one to know one.
