Dan Feuerriegel may spend his days stirring up trouble as EJ on Days of our Lives, but one fan gave him a pretty great reminder of another character people still remember fondly. During his appearance at The Big Texas Comicon in San Antonio, Feuerriegel met a fan who brought along a custom collectible inspired by Agron, his character from Spartacus. Naturally, that was worth showing off.
Key Takeaways
- Dan Feuerriegel received a custom 3D-printed Agron collectible from a fan at The Big Texas Comicon.
- The tribute gave the DAYS star a fun reminder of his Spartacus past.
- Feuerriegel shared the fan interaction on Instagram and later celebrated a successful first visit to San Antonio.
- Fans loved the Agron throwback and also had opinions about Feuerriegel’s convention hairstyle.
Dan Feuerriegel Reunites With Agron
Feuerriegel shared the moment on Instagram, writing, “A neat little Agron collectible a fan brought by for me to sign while at @bigtexcon. Great to meet you, Ladislado! #Spartacus.” The video showed Feuerriegel meeting the fan and getting a close look at the 3D-printed figure before signing it. Text over the clip read, “TFW…a fan brings a 3D-printed collectible of a character you portrayed to have signed.”
The figure looked like a personalized take on a Funko Pop-style collectible, with an oversized head, compact body, and simplified features designed to resemble Agron. It was immediately recognizable as a mini version of Feuerriegel’s Spartacus character. Getting handed a tiny plastic version of yourself from another show has to rank pretty high on the convention-surprise scale.
Feuerriegel had already been sharing his excitement about the convention. Before the event, he announced that it was his first visit to San Antonio and asked followers for places to eat and relax after convention hours. He also shared a podcast clip explaining that fans could find him at a booth in the comic book section.

Dan Feuerriegel Had a Big Weekend in Texas
After the convention wrapped, Feuerriegel posted again and made it clear he enjoyed the trip. “My first time in San Antonio was a blast! I sold out of the copies of @fracturedshardsbook and prints, and met a lot of fans.” He also thanked The Big Texas Comicon and teased that Fractured Shards Vol. 5 is coming soon.
The posts showed a different side of the actor than DAYS viewers usually get from EJ. Instead of courtroom battles and DiMera family warfare, Feuerriegel spent the weekend signing autographs, chatting with fans, and celebrating projects from different parts of his career. Agron clearly still has a very loyal following.
Fans loved the throwback. One follower wrote, “Adorable, it’s a mini you in Spartacus ❤️❤️,” while another added, “I loved that show.” Others called the figure “So cute 🥹” and marveled, “That’s so awesome 🙌,” while one DAYS fan had another request entirely: “I love the hair like this! Tell your crew at DOOL, THIS is the look for EJ. lol.”
