Johnny and Chanel (Raven Bowens) have been through the wringer over the span of the last nine months. The couple lost their baby in June 2024, and Johnny slept with Joy (Alexann Hopkins) in October of last year. When the truth came out, Johnny and Chanel separated but subsequently decided to give their marriage another shot.

Boatman is about to will be back on the road next weekend as The Day Players visit Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL.
