Kristen and Brady’s Wedding Bombshell
In honor of DAYS’ 60th anniversary, a fan on X shared the wedding between Kristen (then Eileen Davidson) and Brady (Martsolf) that was blown up by the revelation that she raped Eric (Greg Vaughan).
The clip is a classic from 2013 with nearly all of Salem in attendance. Eric is performing the wedding, and Sami (Alison Sweeney) is his best person. EJ (then James Scott) walks Kristen down the aisle to a very happy Brady.

Brady gives an emotional speech about the surprise he has in store for Kristen, which will convince those doubting their relationship that they are meant to be together.
Unfortunately for him, Brady and the rest of the church get a huge shock as Marlena plays the video of Kristen raping Eric as everyone watches in horror. It was a pivotal moment on the road to the dysfunctional relationship that is still Brady and Kristen today.

The actor is not wrong either. It was a crazy Salem bombshell. For those who may need a refresher, Kristen initially was using Brady as a pawn in her master revenge plan against John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena.
However, along the way, she and Brady fell in love. Marlena, though, learned about the scheme and told Brady, who immediately dumped Kristen.
This sent Kristen on an even more vengeful spree. Kristen came up with the plan to drug and rape Eric and film it so she could humiliate Marlena, John, and the rest of the family.
What Kristen didn’t count on was Brady forgiving her, but he did. Then, in true soap fashion, Victor discovered the video of Kristen taking advantage of Eric and made sure it was played at the wedding.
