Days of our Lives has been prone to introducing new sets in recent years. It wasn’t too long ago the DiMera Mansion got a revamp, and just last year, the famous Horton House got redesigned after being destroyed in a fire. Now that Salem’s teen scene are about to start college, DOOL has shown us the dorm rooms at Salem U, and fans are loving the new sets.
Dazzling Dorm Rooms
On the September 3 episode, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Ari (Marissa Reyes) moved into their new dorm, while Tate (Leo Howard) and Aaron (Louis Tomeo) moved into theirs. Holly and Tate even christened Holly’s room, leaving Ari to spend some unexpected quality time with Aaron.
As the DOOL Fall Preview teased, there’s about to be drama in the dorms once a jealous Sophia (Rachel Boyd) arrives. But until then, fans are loving the show’s new dorm room sets.
“Impressive. #DAYS has dorm rooms for Salem U,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another agreed, “Now that’s some cool dorm rooms for Salem U.”
Another recalled the last time we saw the Salem U dorms, saying, “I remember when Belle, Shawn, Philip and Chloe lived in the doom rooms at Salem University back in 2002. I think they took down the sets when Shawn, Belle, Mimi moved into the lofts by 2004.”
Of course, not everything about the teen scene ‘s new dorm life make sense. “No one who lives in a mansion 10 minutes from campus is giving that up for a dorm room,” one fan quipped, referring to Holly’s digs in the Kiriakis Mansion.
