Action went down in Estonia at the Hotel Tallinn as well as what turned out to be Orpheus’ facility where the nuclear device is allegedly being held. On the Monday, March 31 episode of Days of Our Lives, Marlena got one over on Orpheus and raced to the facility just in time for Steve to make a discovery.
Subdue, Search, Recover
Orpheus (George DelHoyo) made no bones about taking the opportunity to get rid of two thorns in his side so he could go about doing his bad guy stuff in peace. He trained the gun on Marlena (Deidre Hall), and she found out what had been going on. The ISA sent John (the late Drake Hogestyn) after Orpheus, which is why he ended up in Estonia. He discovered Orpheus’ facility and infiltrated it by posing as a scientist.

Orpheus told Marlena that he managed to stay one step ahead of John, and when Marlena wanted to know exactly where John was, Orpheus told her to worry less about her love and more about herself. Before he was able to shoot Marlena, she got the best of him — thanks to her bag — and subdued the villain for good.
Later, Andrew (Colton Little) arrived, and Marlena showed him the neat and tidy package she had tied up for him. But after she begged Andrew to tell her where the facility was, she left. And Orpheus subsequently disappeared from the hotel room.

At the warehouse that supposedly held the nuclear device that world leaders wanted to get their hands on, Steve (Stephen Nichols) came upon a room with a locked door. When he heard a gunshot, he managed to get the door open. And that’s when Marlena arrived at the exact location where Steve was. She even evaded any goons that Paul (Christopher Sean) and Andrew didn’t manage to handle.
A man with gray hair was slumped over on a desk. Was it John? Have we reached the end of the John Black era? Please say it isn’t so. We’re not ready.
