After a bit of a struggle, Sarah let Marlena hypnotize her. After all, everybody in Salem goes under for Marlena at one time or another. It’s her turn! Apparently, the session that took place in the Friday, September 13 episode of Days of Our Lives, wasn’t successful. But we have our doubts. Did Sarah actually remember that Fiona was the drunk driver who hit her and left her lying on the ground?
While Xander (Paul Telfer) desperately wanted Marlena (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize Sarah (Linsey Godfrey — who shared her challenge with this storyline), his wife wasn’t as excited. But ultimately, she knew she needed to do this. She needed to know who was behind the wheel. Unfortunately, the determined doctor said she got close but couldn’t quite see the face.
That’s what she said anyway. When she rejoined Xander and Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas), her emotions were clearly bubbling inside. It felt like she held back tears. And when she said that she needed a moment and Fiona offered to join her, Sarah immediately said no. It was a little too quick, which made us think she was lying and she knew exactly who drove the car that hit her.

If she is lying, why would she do that? After all, she wanted to get to the truth. However, it felt like she was doing it for her own purposes, not necessarily to get the revenge that Xander so desperately wanted. If she is lying, why would she do it?
Since this hit-and-run accident happened, Xander’s temper has understandably reached the highest levels of anger. He has never questioned whether Brady (Eric Martsolf) did this. Even though Brady doesn’t remember. There’s always bad blood between these two, so it’s not a shocking situation.

But taking the bat over to Basic Black and confronting Brady that way felt like a regression. He has worked so hard to be better for the women in his life — Sarah and Victoria — it’s disappointing for him to be unable to see one spec of reason. But at the same time, we get it. He feels helpless. Brady’s heartbreaking mea culpa clearly didn’t move him one bit.
At least, this will lead to some sort of a Fiona confession. It’s hard to pinpoint her motives. She’s a mess—that much we know. But one minute, she seems soulless. The next, she’s on the other end of the emotion spectrum. What’s the truth?
Do you think Sarah remembers? How about the rest of the show — how do you feel about EJ’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) conversation? Let us know in the comments!
