Brandon Barash and family welcome a new arrival.
Stefan, played by Brandon Barash, is often dealing with some big DiMera drama on Days of our Lives, and that drama is more often than not filled with conflict. Now, the actor is sharing some personal family news that’s nothing but joyous!
“In January, our family lost a mother…” Barash began his post, referring to the passing of his stepmother at the beginning of the year, “and then we gained one. Baby Barash coming to ya, September 2023. The Barash Brood continues to grow. Grateful does not begin to describe. Happy Mother’s Day, my queen.”
Barash completed his post with the hashtags #grateful and #mothersday. As you can see in the photo, which includes daughter Harper, whom Barash shares with ex-wife Kirsten Storms (Maxie, General Hospital), and the family dog, he has his hands on his pregnant wife Isabella Barash’s baby bump. The couple wed last December.
In January, Bararsh announced on Instagram that his stepmother, KB, had passed away following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. “Finally. You’re free from your disease,” the actor emotionally revealed. “Finally. The shackles of Alzheimer’s constrain, restrain, rein in no more. Finally. You and dad are reunited. Infinitely, I shall love you. Fly free, sweet KB. Finally.”
The actor’s pals from daytime weigh in with congratulatory messages over Barash’s baby news. “Congrats!” posted Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin, GH). Another former Port Charles resident, Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon), expressed his thoughts with three “high-five” emojis. Abigail Klein (Stephanie) posted, “Aww, congratulations.” In addition to his role as Stefan on DAYS, Barash also lends his creative efforts to music band The Day Players, whose other members include Wally Kurth (Justin; Ned, GH), Eric Martsolf (Brady), and Carson Boatman (Johnny).
