It’s been some time since Austin Peck made a return trip to Days of our Lives, but he remains a much-beloved star. And today, he’s celebrating a major milestone.
That’s because he was born on April 9, 1971, in Honolulu, Hawaii, which means that this talented actor is turning 53 years old today! After leaving Santa Monica High School, Peck found employment as a model, appearing in print ads for magazines such as Esquire, GQ, and Vogue.
In April 1995, he was tapped to play Austin Reed on the NBC soap Days of our Lives. Though he was a recast — having replaced incumbent Patrick Muldoon — Peck soon won over a legion of fans.
He remained in the role until 2002 and made return visits in both 2005 and 2017. He also appeared in 2021’s Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem. In 2006, the Los Angeles-based Peck relocated to New York City in order to join the cast of As the World Turns.
For the next two years, he played Brad Snyder, a construction worker turned mid-morning talk show host. Following his exit, Peck publicly revealed that he and Terri Conn, who played Brad’s wife Katie Peretti, were dating. The couple would go on to welcome two daughters: Keira Grace (born November 2012) and Morgan Theresa (born July 2015).
Peck’s other acting credits include guest appearances on episodes of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Charmed, The District, CSI: NY, and Law & Order: SVU as well as starring roles in both short films — Are You a Serial Killer, Revenge and Aimee Price — and features like Breaking Down and North of the City.
He also spent one year on ABC’s One Life to Live (as porn producer Rick Powers), recurred on Chicago Fire, and played a main character in the web serial Tainted Dreams.
Soap Hub would like to wish Austin Peck a very happy birthday and many more.
