As previously reported, there’s conflict backstage at Days of our Lives related to co-executive producer/director Albert Alarr and allegations of misconduct against him from numerous parties. Now, actors from the show are speaking out on the situation. They want to let fans know that they hear them and that they are aware of what’s going on behind the scenes.
Days of our Lives Actors to Fans: We Hear You
“Hello Wonderful Days Fans and supporters!” shared Arianne Zucker (Nicole) on social media. “In light of the recent information, trust in knowing that your love and messages mean everything. Also know that we are all supporting each other. Cast and crew! It takes a village. Just hang tight…❤️.”
Peter Reckell, who resurrected Bo last year on both DAYS and the Peacock original limited series Beyond Salem 2, also shared his feelings on Twitter. “We have learned disturbing news about the environment at DOOL,” Reckell wrote. “It’s shocking to all who care deeply about the show, it’s [sic] legacy, and the audience who love it so much. With quick resolution, I hope to see a return to its past values of family and respect for all.”
The Real Housewife of Salem Speaks Out
Former cast member Lisa Rinna, who has played Billie Reed on and off DAYS since 1992 and also appeared on Beyond Salem in 2021, shared her deeply felt thoughts on the issue in a social media post that has since been deleted. Before it was taken down, The Daily Mail captured a screengrab of her post which read, “Well, this took a long time,” Rinna wrote. “Let’s see, when’s the last time I went over there and did that week on Peacock? I couldn’t believe the work environment. It was disgusting. I was shocked. I let many people know how I felt — Albert included.”
Fans Support Days of our Lives Actors
DAYS devotee Angie (Twitter handle: @Evangelia1111), who, according to her social media bio, ironically, works in human resources, used social media to remind fans of the show why they love it so much. “Really hoping the show takes swift action to remedy its issues,” Angie posted. “But for now I’m going to focus on why we love #DaysofourLives with a collection of anniversary montages over the decades with #Days most memorable supercouples, families, characters & scenes.”
