Move over Ryan Murphy and the rest of the Olympic swimmers currently competing in Tokyo—there’s competition on the horizon. Days of our Lives star Mary Beth Evans revealed that her grandson Luca is swimming like a true champion. And he’s only 18 months old!
Mary Beth Evans Reveals Grandson’s Special ISR Training
The popular actress posted a video of her grandson, who was born on Feb. 24, 2020, taking to the water like a fish!
“Luca finishing up his ISR training…(Infant Swimming Resource) is the product of over 50 years of ongoing development in the area of aquatic survival for infants and children,” she wrote on Instagram. “ISR’s primary focus is to teach your child to become a productive swimmer, or floater, in any depth of water. Truly amazing that a toddler his age learns to do this….Nationwide…”
The proud grandmother encouraged Luca on and had a big smile on her face as he swam on his own to the other side of the pool. It was as much joy as watching someone going for the gold in Tokyo.
Of course, DAYS fans are missing seeing Evans on-screen because the Summer Olympics is postponing the show for a bit. But when it returns, there’s sure to be lots of Kayla and Steve at the forefront.
Just last week, Mary Beth Evans posted a behind-the-scenes look of a taping she was involved in for a future story, and the way the schedule currently is, it shouldn’t be too long before it makes it to air.
“Behind the wall of the nurses’ station with rehearsals happening on the other side,” she noted on Instagram, adding a fun photo. “Just waiting to do our scene next.”
With her ex, Justin Kiriakis, about to marry Bonnie Lockhart, Kayla has been asked to be Matron of Honor, which could be a little awkward. Will she and Steve be able to enjoy the wedding without incident? Hopefully, when Days of our Lives returns on August 9, viewers will find out!
