Soap operas have been dwindling over the last couple of decades, so for a show like Days of Our Lives to reach its 60th anniversary that’s a huge accomplishment. The soap has some special stories planned for its milestone celebration, including the return of Bo and Hope, and there will also be special episodes honoring the late star, Drake Hogestyn. In line with that, Dan Feuerriegel gave a sneak peek behind the curtain as the celebrations began.
He Shamelessly (and Hilariously) Praised Himself
It must be hard for the DAYS actors to sit on plot and casting information for almost a year until those things are announced, because the show films so far in advance. But that’s okay, because the time has come when some anniversary spoilers are starting to leak, and Feuerriegel gave a small tease on Instagram. His post included a video clip of some of the actors’ photo shoot for the celebration.
In the clip, Feuerriegel was decked out in a tuxedo while AnnaLynne McCord (Cat) was in a slinky dark blue dress, and Billy Flynn (Chad) sported a casual look with a black button-down shirt and blazer. McCord seemed to be enjoying herself as she burst into laughter at one point and wiggled around. Feuerriegel wrote, “A little BTS of our 60th anniversary photoshoot. Can’t wait for you to see the final product ⭐️ I’m like, totally handsome in it. And I guess AnnaLynne & Billy look good as well 😉. @theannalynnemccord @inlikebillyflynn.”

He Can’t Smolder Like Flynn
Feuerriegel also added the comment, “I can’t do @inlikebillyflynn sexy smolder face 😢.” But the fans disagreed with him as one replied, “@thedanfeuerriegel don’t be too sure about that!😉.” Romy Park, who plays Poppy on The Bold and the Beautiful, lovingly chimed in with, “Ahhh Danimal! You actually look presentable— for once 😂😂😂. Looking good, love you my friend ♥️.” The same fan also responded to that with, “@romypark he makes everything look good!🔥🔥.”
Seeing the three actors together prompted one follower to write, “This would be a triangle for the ages!” Feuerriegel’s co-star Al Calderon (Javi) hilariously responded with, “So…my photos didn’t come out like this…it’s rude!” And one follower really loved the clip, remarking, “3 Gorgeous people ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️ 🔥Love you all 😍🔥❤️🙌.”
