EJ loves playing mind games with others on Days of Our Lives. But to him, they’re not simply games. They’re a means to get what he wants. He currently wants to get his job as district attorney back and has been using Rafe’s doppelganger, Arnold, to do his dirty work. But, as EJ continues to try to keep his hands clean from all his schemes, it turns out that his portrayer, Dan Feuerriegel, also enjoys games…just not of the mind kind.
Gladiatorial Matches Continue
Feuerriegel shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “NRL in Vegas 2025 Come check out why I believe the @nrl is the greatest game on earth 😎. No pads, no helmets, no timeouts !!! March 1st, Allegiant Stadium, Vegas.” He directed his fans to where they could buy tickets, and noted that he’d been playing Rugby since age eight, adding, “And it will forever be close to my heart.”
He also added in some thank yous to his DAYS castmates and actors from another show he was on, Spartacus. And he thanked his brother Nate Feuerriegel for editing the video he shared. In it were many actors including DAYS’ Eric Martsolf, Linsey Godfrey, Paul Telfer, Robert Scott Wilson, and Galen Gering. They introduced themselves with Feuerriegel explaining, “Now that the NFL season is over and you’re missing that gladiatorial combat. Boy, do I have a fix for you.”

Bone-Crushing Fun
Other actors from the soap and Spartacus appeared as they all contributed a line explaining that NRL is the National Rugby League and the players don’t use helmets, pads, or have timeouts. Feuerriegel continued, “Whether you’re a diehard fan or new to the game, this is your chance to witness skill, speed, and, of course, bone-crushing hits live in one of the most electrifying cities in the world. Vegas.”

One fan was thrilled, responding, “Love this. Thanks for flying the Aussie NRL flag! It’s going to be a great spectacle! 🙌🔥.” Another of his followers replied, “Yesssss! This is so good for the game! Thanks @thedanfeuerriegel for promoting our wonderful game.” And one huge fan enthusiastically chimed in with, “Have fun @thedanfeuerriegel know you’re gonna be there cheering your head off!😜😂😂.”
