Kyle Lowder will return to Days of our Lives as Rex Brady — a role he reprised several times since 2018.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Lowder will be back in Salem as Rex in 2025. Of course, he won’t air until sometime next spring, so fans have a bit more time to wait before they see him in storylines.
He teased the return yesterday in his Instagram stories, saying, “I’m back in a very familiar place today, and tomorrow, and the next day. Give you a hint — I’m in Burbank at a studio. I’ve been doing this a long time, but it’s been a minute! I’m excited.”
Fans will remember that Lowder originally played Brady Black until 2005. Then, when he returned in 2018, he was Rex. He left in 2019 but returned multiple times, including in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
So far, we don’t have information about what Rex will be up to this time around in Salem. Soap Hub will bring you the latest information about the storyline as soon as we know. Previously, he’d said he wouldn’t be able to be on contract at the soap due to his new day job — morning anchor for the CBS affiliate KTVN in Reno, NV. We will see if that remains the case.
