Days of our Lives Star Cherie Jimenez Hints Major Change Coming To Gabi

Days of Our Lives star Cherie Jimenez had big shoes to fill. She replaced Camila Banus as Gabi Hernandez. Unfortunately, she got bullied for simply showing up and doing her job. The backlash has blown over, for the most part. The soap star has eased up to social media again. Jimenez teased fans that another big change is coming to her character.

Gabi Embraces Change

Gabi is going through a lot. She divorced her husband, Stefan (ex-Brandon Barash). He ended up having an affair with Ava (Tamara Braun) while Gabi was away in prison. In the meantime, some of her family members are back in time for the holidays.

That’s not the only change that Gabi is going through. Jimenez interacted with DAYS fans on X (formerly Twitter). Jimenez is warming up to social media after being bullied. (See How She Turned The Negativity Around.)

She revealed that she’s pushed for another change in her character. It took about “five months” to make it happen. One fan noticed the change already. “You might think this is an odd comment, but since you and Stefan split up, your character has been wearing less makeup. You look much more realistic and prettier, too!” the observant user posted.

Jimenez was pleased by the comment. She requested that her makeup was too severe. She noticed that “looks flattering” on screen. Jimenez told the fan, “Over the next 5 months, my makeup will improve as we have finally figured out what works best to accentuate my natural beauty.”

There’s no doubt that Jimenez is a beautiful woman. She looks great, no matter what. But fans will be pleased that she will be embracing more of her natural beauty on the Peacock soap. 

What’s Next For Gabi?

It’s also possible that Gabi could have a new romance. In a previous interview, Jimenez shared her thoughts on Stefan and Gabi’s marriage. She still believes they’re meant to be, regardless of what happened. However, some fans are split on the couple’s future.
