Gabi and Stefan’s relationship has captivated Days of Our Lives fans. Gabi wants to divorce him, but they could make their relationship work. Fans are pondering whether Gabi and Stefan’s relationship is destiny.
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) have been dealing with marital issues. DAYS fans were surprised when Stefan was knocked unconscious. Stefan declared his love for Gabi. He told her that he wanted to end the divorce proceedings so they could end their marriage.
Nobody was around to hear him. All of a sudden, Stefan was attacked from behind. Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) turned out to be the masked assailant. Vivian felt that attacking Stefan was for his own sake. She even had the divorce papers sent to Gabi’s door.
In an interview with Woman’s World, Jimenez addressed Gabi’s future with Stefan. She admitted that the couple still loves one another, but Gabi has doubts. Either way, she has to work through these fears before moving forward.
“Gabi does start to question everything, and who knows where the writers are going to take it?” Jimenez continued. “But if they can make it through all of this, I believe they are meant for each other.”

Jimenez believes the couple is meant to be. That doesn’t mean they won’t have their share of ups and downs along the way. She also teased that Gabi will experience major growth during this time. (Will Gabi and Stefan Reunite?)
“If Gabi feels betrayed or somebody messes with her family, she’s going to do what she does,” Jimenez explained. “But Gabi is going to try and redeem herself and really take a look at her wrongs.”
Jimenez only hopes Gabi will “make some better decisions, moving forward.” With Stefan gone, will Gabi take the steps to move on? Or will she fight to get him back?
