Good Trouble
When it comes to triangles, Belle (Martha Madison) is no novice. She was part of one with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) for years. We were kind of hoping she’d end up in one with EJ and Sami (Alison Sweeney). But that doesn’t seem to be in the cards for the near future. (Though we’re still Team EJelle, and nothing anyone can say will change our minds.)
On the surface, it would seem that, should it come down to a showdown between Belle and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) over Philip, Belle will fall into her usual good girl role, while Gabi takes her bad girl position. But what if we mixed it up a bit? What if Belle digs deep and unearths her inner bad girl (her inner Sami, as it were)? Now we have a party!

On the Up and Up
On the other hand, Gabi has pulled a lot of schemes and tricks. And it’s never worked out for her. So what if she decides, this time around, she’ll take the high road. If Philip wants her, fine. If not – not. Let Belle be the one to lie and manipulate. Gabi will just sit back and come out smelling like a rose.

Of course, both women have other options. Gabi told Javi (Al Calderon) there was another potential man in the picture. Survey says… Xander (Paul Telfer). Sure, she’s working to bring him down along with Titan-DiMera. But, hey, nobody is perfect. As for Belle, as well said – EJ all the way! So could this triangle be over before it’s even begun?
