Arianne Zucker Details Lawsuit Against DAYS in Press Conference

Days of our Lives actress Arianne Zucker gave a press conference in which she went into greater detail about her lawsuit against Ken Corday, executive producer; Albert Alarr, former co-executive producer/director; and the soap opera that she called home (on and off) for 25 years.

“For quite some time I’ve seen my female coworkers sexually harassed, violated, and degraded as woman by Albert,” stated Zucker in a press conference recorded by Deadline. “I myself have also been degraded, violated, and degraded. In March of 2023, several female employees were fired. There was complete dissolution of our all-female PR department. Females having contracts not renewed, or they were not returning because of the way they were being treated on the show. Females moved to recurring status…and feeling like if they do or say something, it would be swept under the rug, and nothing would be done or worse — they would be fired.”

Zucker said she feared being blackballed after she brought up issues at work to Corday Productions. She noted there was no on-set human resources department on site nor was there an intimacy coordinator to oversee love scenes.

The actress says she wanted to stay on the show but was released from it. “So for all my coworkers, who said they were scared to say anything out of fear for being fired,” a tearful Zucker concluded, “well, you all were all right. After my loyalty to Ken Corday and Corday Productions for 25 years and loving the show with all my heart and working to my highest ability, doing the right thing and standing up for myself and others is clearly what got me pushed out of my longtime career at Days of our Lives.”
