Wednesday’s DAYS episode set up the “Who Shot EJ” whodunit that undoubtedly will continue until the end of the Ron Carlivati era of the show. The suspects in this mystery are plentiful. If they didn’t threaten EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), they either hoped for his downfall or grabbed a gun with malicious intent. Johnny (Carson Boatman, DAYS’ March 2025 Performer of the Month) procured Roman’s (Josh Taylor) gun, while Ava (Tamara Braun, who’s out at DAYS) carried a not-so-concealed weapon.

Meanwhile, Paulina (Jackée Harry) mentioned somebody needing to take care of the devious DiMera, and Jada’s (Elia Cantu) gun was holstered right by her side. In front of Rafe (Galen Gering), Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) threatened to kill EJ, and when JJ (Casey Moss) arrived at the house, the brother and sister weren’t anywhere around. Even Chanel (Raven Bowens) stood up to her father-in-law, so we couldn’t rule her out. And, of course, there were suspicious individuals that weren’t even shown on Wednesday. On Thursday, the shooting goes down.
