If you’re down in the doldrums because Days of Our Lives is on an Olympic hiatus, here’s something to boost your spirits. A new Lifetime TV movie is in the works, and it stars not one but three of your Salem favorites.
In the new film, Mommy I Didn’t Do It, you’ll see Jen Lilley (Theresa) in a new role. She shared the news via Instagram, along with a picture of her new (but actually old) co-stars, Paige Searcy (Jade) and James Lastovic (Joey). Lilley also posted a picture of the birthday cake she the cast and crew presented her with at the end of the day.
This isn’t the popular actress’s first post-DAYS role. She also completed Where Are You Bobby Browning? and Crossing Streets – both written and directed by the same team.
Still in Salem
Of course, you can still catch plenty of the actress’s run on Days of Our Lives when the show returns after the Olympics. A new DAYS spoiler video showed some exciting clips of the resolution to Lilley’s big storyline at the moment – the kidnapping of her son Tate. Theresa and Brady (Eric Martsolf) have been going through a horrible time trying to find out who kidnapped their little boy.
Along with John (Drake Hogestyn), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and many other Salem residents, the two have been searching to no avail. At first, it seemed Summer (Marie Wilson), kidnapped the boy, then all eyes turned to Victor (John Aniston). Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) soon became a suspect, and then the kidnapping list circled back to Summer and Victor–and maybe someone else. While the preview showed a resolution, it didn’t solve the whodunit. You’ll have to tune in to find that out!
DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Additionally, for more Days of Our Lives’ spoilers updates, recaps, and news, go to Soap Hub’s Facebook fanpage and join the conversation about all your favorite soaps!
