Fans of the “Last Blast” era of Days of our Lives are getting an early holiday gift. Beloved characters, Shawn, Belle, Chloe, Philip, and their pals are reuniting on DAYS’ latest series found on the show’s app — The DOOL App.
Days of our Lives Dreams Come True
On the heels of Chad and Abby in Paris, DAYS is now reuniting beloved favorites in a new digital series. Coming to your device screens in a series titled ‘Last Blast Reunion’ are Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Martha Madison (Belle), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Heather Lindell (Jan Spears), Aaron Van Wagner (Jason Welles), and Lindsay Hollistar (Susan Adamson).
“We are excited to bring together some of the most beloved characters from DAYS in the next DOOL App series,” said Greg Meng, DAYS, co-executive producer and mastermind behind the DOOL App. “As this new digital platform continues to grow, we can provide exciting additional content to complement the air show on NBC.”
In Last Blast Reunion, Chloe and Belle learn that their old pal Kevin has reopened former Salem hangout Dot Com in New York. The trio decides to plan a reunion that draws Shawn, Mimi, and Susan back into the story.
Watch for Jan to appear, as well. As expected, the story will take some unexpected turns as this group reconnects for the first time in a while.
The character of Mimi, formerly played by Farah Fath, has been recast and will be played by Teressa Liane. Also, Chadwick Hopson will play Kevin Lambert, the part originated by Brett Lawrence and Robert Benvenisti. Watch for an additional major fan favorite to debut in the digital series premiere app-isode.
The series debuts on Friday, November 29 on the DOOL App, which can be downloaded by clicking here. Additional episodes will debut every Thursday over the next seven weeks, making the run eight episodes in total just as both chapters of Chad and Abby in Paris had.
Following the debut on the DOOL App, episodes will be available on the NBC App, as well as NBC.com. Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check local listings for air times.
