We Need a Hero! Who Was Your All-Time Favorite On Days of Our Lives?

Sure, Bo may have rescued Hope from her wedding (to the wrong guy, i.e. not Bo) on Days of Our Lives by riding in on a motorcycle while Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out For A Hero played in the background, but he is far from being Salem’s only charge-in-to-the-rescue guy.

There’s Steve (Stephen Nichols), who took many a bullet and stab to protect his Sweetness Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and John (Drake Hogysten) who, most recently, switched Marlena (Deidre Hall) with Hattie to keep Belle (Martha Madison) from pulling the plug on her mom.

Bring Back Bo!
Whether he’s played by Peter Reckell or Robert Kelker-Kelly, Bo is still the man for 65% of you.

After all, he has the theme song. And he is definitely the guy for Hope (Kristian Alfonso). Rafe (Galen Garing) may be a cop, but he’s hero-lite compared to the one and only Bo Brady!

Seeing Steve
Nichols is gone from Salem, and 21% of the audience is in mourning. All you can think about is Steve fighting bad guys, going undercover with an extra eyeball, even giving Kayla up to Jack (Matthew Ashford) when he thought his baby brother was dying.

He’s a hero in multiple ways, and the canvas sure feels empty without him!

Just John
John’s a hero, too, 12% remind. Even if it’s a touch tricky to pin down just who John is. Is he a long-lost Alamain? Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) illegitimate brother? Robo-John? Hey, remember when he used to be Roman (Josh Taylor)? Maybe more of you would see him as hero material if he wasn’t so confused much of the time.
