Nadia Bjorlin’s Freak Holiday Weekend Accident

The July 4th weekend is supposed to be filled with fun and adventure — but not the kind Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin just had. She ended her holiday weekend with a visit to a doctor’s office — after hours — and it wasn’t even for doing something exciting.

The gorgeous actress shared a snap of herself laying down on a table at the doctor’s office on Instagram and it didn’t look even remotely pleasant. She revealed the details in the caption. What happened was something so many of us can relate to because we’ve either done it ourselves or come very close.

“Way to end a great holiday weekend.. ugh….but thank you to my dear friend @beverly.hills.cosmetic.surgeon for driving to his office on a Sunday night to stitch up my face because I can’t properly transfer the washing into the dryer without hitting my face on the door of the dryer. That’s what I get for trying to be productive.”

Thank goodness the doctor was available to accept this emergency call from the stunning actress. Accidents to the face make reporting to work much harder when you’re an actress. It’s not like it is for those of us who would just have to show up to a cubicle and could hide from our co-workers until the wound healed.

While we don’t think Bjorlin is currently shooting at DAYS since Chloe will leave Salem again soon, it wouldn’t be the first time a soap has had to deal with covering an injury to an actor and it certainly wouldn’t be the last.
