While Nadia Bjorlin is best known for playing Chloe Lane on Days of Our Lives, the actress has also appeared on shows such as NCIS, Two and a Half Men, 2 Broke Girls, and Anger Management.
Along with her acting career, Bjorlin is also a very talented singer and dancer. From where she was born and raised to appearing in a major singer’s music video, here are five fast facts about the on-again/off-again Days of Our Lives star!
In The Beginning
Bjorlin was born on August 2 in Newport, Rhode Island. Though she was born in the U.S., her parents are Swedish and moved the family back to Sweden when Bjorlin was quite young. Her father, Ulf Björlin, was a popular Swedish conductor and composer. After living in Sweden for a few years, Bjorlin and her family moved back to the U.S. again.
Sing Out Loud
Though she started acting and performing at a young age, Bjorlin is also a very talented singer and musician. She performed in an international vocal competition in Italy when she was a teenager and she also won first place in the Metro Lyric Opera Competition in New York City. Though she’s focused on acting now, she still sings and plays the guitar, flute, and piano.

A Way With Words
Bjorlin is pretty skilled with languages. She is fluent in Swedish as well as Farsi, but because of her musical background in opera, she’s also schooled in several more languages like Italian and French.
Music Video Appearance
Along with acting in television shows and movies, Bjorlin is also a music video star. In fact, she appeared as a go-go dancer in Ricky Martin’s (ex-Miguel, General Hospital) music video for his song Shake Your Bon-Bon in 1999!
Getting Personal
Bjorlin dated actor Bruce Willis for about a year in the early 2000s, but she became engaged to Grant Turnbull in August 2014. The couple tied the knot in May 2015 and have two sons together — Torin Mathias and Viggo Sebastian. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
