While Rafe hasn’t had much to do on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) since Hope dumped him, Galen Gering has certainly been keeping busy.
The actor took to Twitter last night to announce where he will be this coming Sunday — appearing on the streaming service Netflix on The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale.
“You’ll be able to see me turn @KevinRahm into the smartest man in history!” Gering shared.
For those who don’t immediately recognize the name, Kevin Rahm can currently be seen as Brooks Avery on the TV show, Lethal Weapon and before, you could catch him on Madame Secretary, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives, and plenty of other shows.
You may know Joel McHale from his time on the show Community, Tad on X-Files, and many others — in addition to his stand-up comedy.
His Netflix show is a weekly comedy commentary where he discusses trending news, pop culture, social media, along with original sketches, where we expect to see Gering.
Things could be picking up soon for Rafe on DAYS though — as the jury decides his sister Gabi’s (Camila Banus) fate during her trial for Andre’s murder. He’ll be grilling Stefan (Tyler Christopher), along with Chad (Billy Flynn) as they work together to try to clear Gabi of a crime they know she didn’t commit.
Not only that, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) can’t hide away in Hong Kong forever. It looks like she’s returning to Salem next week and she and Rafe will have to figure out what they’re going to do about their marriage. Will Hope be able to forgive him for sleeping with Sami while they were on a break? Stay tuned to find out.
