Lucas usually does pretty well on paternity tests on Days of Our Lives.
He was determined to be Will’s (Chandler Massey) dad, rather than his brother, Austin. Allie, one of Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) twins, turned out to be his. And now it looks like Bouncing Baby Bonnie is a Horton, too!
But, just because science says so, do the fans believe she is really Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) child? Here are the tests over 6,000 of you ran.
Fake News
No way, no how, 83% of you avert. Bonnie (Judi Evans) is way too Old Lady Bonnie to be Baby Bonnie’s mother.
Plus, it’s all way too convenient. Bonnie is about to go back to jail and then, wouldn’t you know it, it’s a miracle – she has a Bouncing Baby Bargaining chip handy to blackmail Lucas into convincing Adrienne to drop the charges. (Isn’t that usually the district attorney’s job?)
Adrienne is notoriously a soft touch, especially when kids are concerned – though you’d think her own experience growing up with abusive dad, Duke, and abused mom, Jo, might make Adrianne think Baby Bonnie might be better off away from her jailbird mom.
And Lucas is… gullible. He spent multiple decades falling for Sami’s lies, so it’s no surprise Bonnie has him snookered. But, you’re smarter than that.
Why Not?
Lucas deserves a do-over, 17% of the audience admits. Will is all grown up – and back from the dead, while Allie is in Europe – despite Sami being in jail in Salem.
So, a new innocent baby is just what Lucas deserves. He can get Baby Bonnie away from Liar Bonnie and raise her with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Parker. Baby Bonnie can even make up for Chloe losing Holly. Just as long as the first thing they do is change the poor little thing’s name.
