Days of Our Lives News: Why You May See More Jen Lilley

Salem fan favorite Jen Lilley may be off your screens by fall, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be back one day.

Many Happy Returns?
Lilley announced her DAYS departure in late spring, citing the demanding soap schedule leaving her little time to do anything else with her life. However, she refuses to rule out a DAYS return.

“I loved every minute. I still hope to come back,” Lilley said told Soap Central.

In the meantime, we get to watch Theresa’s most heartbreaking and dramatic story yet as she deals with Tate’s kidnapping.

A Mother’s Anguish

Her missing son rocks Theresa’s world, Lilley said. She’ll question many of her relationships, and even herself. She’ll look beyond herself and her needs to ensure the return of her son.

“She’ll experience madness, numbness, and absolute heartache with a few silver linings,” Lilley told Soap Central.

A Self-Professed Workaholic Expects a Busy Future

The actress has several projects planned for her post-Salem days. These include an album, a children’s book, other acting jobs, foster parent certification, and visiting family. Phew! It looks like Lilley shares Theresa’s drive and energy, according to Soap Central.

Lilley has no regrets about her time on DAYS. She also thinks of Charles Shaughnessy and Patsy Pease (Shane and Kimberly Donovan) return as a gift she didn’t know she wanted until she got it.
