This is the season of giving and Days of our Lives fans of Mary Beth Evans have more than proven that they have a generous spirit — and now their fave is letting them know how grateful she is for their recent show of generosity.

The actress who has brought Kayla to life off and on for over three decades in Salem took to Instagram to let her followers know that their recent act of giving has truly touched her.

“To all of you who support us and causes close to our heart year after year, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Happiest of holidays and again thank you for your generosity ❤️ #raiseachild #specialneedssolutions”

She wrote that caption next to an image of a card the explained exactly what happened. It was addressed to the actress and longtime co-star Stephen Nichols (Steve normally but currently as SteVano). The message was incredibly touching.

A Special Thank You

“Happy Holidays!!! We wanted to honor your legacy of beautiful work, kindness and giving hearts by donating to two special charities. We have proudly raised a total of $1600 dollars. $800 for Special Needs Solutions and $800 for Raise A Child.” They signed it and ended the sentiment with the quote, “We rise by lifting others.”

Meanwhile, their favorites have yet to share screen time since the return of Nichols to the Days of our Lives scene. It will certainly be a shock for Kayla if she learns that he has the essence of Stefano inside his brain, but will they be able to recapture that spark? Will either of them even want to? After all, SteVano did his best to push her away.
