Martha Madison Teases Possible Days of Our Lives Return

Days of Our Lives has given its fans many gifts this year. One of the biggest was the return of Martha Madison to her role as Belle Black Brady! Might the fan favorite revisit the show again before the year is up?

Madison responded to a tweet from a fan asking if she and hunky TV husband Brandon Beemer (Shawn) would be back on air anytime soon.

“I’m sure you’ll see us again,” Madison responded.

Since she’s part of two key clans on DAYS, and the NBC soap is known for playing up its families especially during the holidays, we can only hope this means that both Belle and Shawn will be back on screen for some Christmastime episodes!

Madison turned in some fantastic work this fall when Belle had to champion her mom Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) wishes that she not be kept on life support.

The episodes in which Marlena’s loved ones fought over her fate were some of the year’s best and should be kept in mind for next year’s Daytime Emmys.

In fact, Madison previewed those episodes to Soap Hub earlier in the year by saying that this return to DAYS was “one of my favorite times being at DAYS so I’m really excited to see how people respond to it.”

The episodes showcased the family dynamics and if DAYS head honchos were watching, hopefully, it will motivate them to finally have Belle and Shawn move back to Salem where they belong.
