Marci Miller Wraps Up DAYS Run With Tear-Filled Abigail Tribute!

Monday was Marci Miller’s final appearance on Days of Our Lives, so the actress marked the occasion by sharing a very special behind-the-scenes video from her last moments as Abby.

We’ve known about her departure for six months but it was still sad to see the last of Miller as Abby Deveraux DiMera on Monday’s show.

The Emmy-nominated actress took to Instagram to share her feelings on the end of this incredible time in her life. First, she shared an image of herself painting nails.

“This is a picture of me 2 yrs ago, painting my nails (and a dear friend’s while I’m at it) for a screen test the next morning to play a woman named Abigail Deveraux Dimera on Days of Our Lives. Who would’ve thought?!”

In the two years that she has been on the soap, Abby has come back from the dead, married the wrong man, fought for the right man, murdered a man who had helped her through rough times, fractured into a couple of alters, slept with (or raped by?) her husband’s brother while not in her right mind, got pregnant, and was gaslit by her supposed best friend. Never a dull moment!

“This morning I sit in the same exact spot knowing that today, my last episode will air as this beloved character. I reflect, and am grateful. I am better for having been a part of it all. Knowing I’ve laid her in a pair of loving and capable hands does me good. Thanks for the sweet, sweet ride, Abby. My heart is full today. Xx #Days #Milly #Chabby”
