The Other Abby: Marci Miller’s Final Farewell To Days of Our Lives Star Billy Flynn

While it was Kate Mansi’s Abby that got to walk off into the sunset with Billy Flynn’s Chad, Marci Miller couldn’t let their last day go by without paying tribute to her former Days of Our Lives scene partner.

The actress took to Instagram to let fans know how much her former co-star means to her — and exactly what she did about it.

“I knew this day was coming, and that I didn’t want to miss it. It was Billy Flynn’s last day, so I found myself walking through the doors of Burbank Studios for the first time since my own exit.”

That’s right! Miller went back to her old stomping grounds to say goodbye to the man who made her DAYS experience so amazing.

“I wanted to hear them call his name over the loud speaker one last time, and witness his final words as Chad DiMera. I sat on a stool in the dark, watching, tearing up at all he had given over the last 4 years, and how difficult it can be to walk away from it all.”

She would certainly know, being that she also walked that same walk when she left DAYS last May after being his onscreen love interest for two years. But it’s what she did next that is just so adorable for fans of their version of Chabby.

“I followed him around like a kid as he said his goodbyes and carried a big bag of shoes to his car. Welcome to the other side, my friend. The whole world has been waiting for you…💚 #Milly #Days”

Those last scenes airs on Thursday. It will be a whole new Salem when fans tune in on Friday, but it will be fun to follow Flynn’s burgeoning career. Soap Hub joins Miller in wishing the actor all the success that whole world has to offer.
