Those were the Days of Our Lives! Remember when Gene and Calliope would get into wacky hijinks with their pal Anna? These days, Anna is walking around with an urn full of her dead husband’s ashes… which got used for a murder.

Remember when Vivian and her man-servant, Ivan (Ivan G’Vera), were forced to participate in Susan’s (Eileen Davidson) Elvis-themed wedding – the one where her fake teeth flew out and landed in a champagne flute? These days, Vivian only lets go and lets it rip when she’s drunk!

Remember Sami (Allison Sweeney) dressing up like a man? The last time we saw her, she was trying to get her son almost killed – for his own good.

Last week, Marlena, Vivian, and Kate drunk in a secret room reminded us how funny DAYS can be?

Where has the silly gone? Does Salem need more of it? Over 5,000 fans laid on the laughs.

How are you supposed to take all the heartache seriously if other characters are laughing about it?

Is Hope (Kristian Alfonso) supposed to crack-wise while Rafe (Galen Gering) is breaking her heart? Is Sonny (Freddie Smith) supposed to be amused by the fact that Will (Chandler Massey) doesn’t remember him? Should Chad (Billy Flynn) laugh away Abigail (Marci Miller) sleeping with Stefan (Tyler Christopher)?
