Were any Days of Our Lives fans truly fooled when Sonny and Will wrapped Leo up in that carpet and left him for dead? Did anyone, save Sonny and Will, actually think he was dead?
Like the proverbial bad penny, Leo (Greg Rikaart) is back. He blackmailed Sonny (Freddie Smith) into marrying him. Now, Will (Chandler Massey) is walking around with a perennial frowny face.
But, how do the fans feel about Leo’s return? Here’s what over 6,000 had to tell us.
Let My People Go!
Leo is mean, mean, mean, 74% of you channel Susan (Stacey Haiduk). Not only is he swiftly working his way through the majority of Victor’s (John Aniston) wine cellar, but he is keeping your favorite couple apart.
And anyone who keeps a meant-to-be couple apart is evil incarnate and must never be allowed into Salem. Well, not Abigail (Kate Mansi), obviously. She came between EJ and Sami (Alison Sweeney), but that was OK.
And not John (Drake Hogysten), who slept with Marlena (Deidre Hall) while she was married to Roman (Josh Taylor). Or Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) – did you know Doug (Bill Hayes) used to be married to Julie’s mom, Addie?
That’s how Julie is both Hope’s stepmother and her sister. But they’re all forgiven. Leo? Never!
Funny Bones
Leo is hilarious, 26% of the audience is doubled over laughing, and you want to see more of him. Anyone who can make Victor bluster impotently and liven up the dour faces contest that is Sonny and Will deserves full-time residency at the Kiriakis mansion.
Leo and Sonny wouldn’t be the first couple ever forced into marriage who eventually fell in love. (Speaking of EJ and Sami…) And watching him crack one-liners is a lot more fun than Sonny and Will starting into each other’s eyes. Endlessly.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
