Lucas now believes that he’s baby Bonnie’s father on Days of Our Lives, but come on, we all know that can’t possibly be the case.
First of all, Bonnie (Judi Evans) is well passed the child bearing years. Plus, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) doesn’t remember having sex with the brawny Adrienne lookalike, and probably for good reason. It might have never happened.
So, how did Bonnie orchestrate things so that DNA tests on little Bon Bon came back as a match for Lucas? Here are three possibilities.
Grand Baby to the Rescue
The most likely scenario is that the child is the biological offspring of Bonnie’s daughter, Mimi, and Lucas’ half brother Rex.
That would explain how Bonnie got her hands on the baby so easily. She convinced Mimi it was her only way out of prison, and Mimi reluctantly loaned out her little one. And, of course, Rex and Lucas would share DNA markers as siblings.
With Farah Fath returning as Mimi and Kyle Lowder taking on the role of Rex, the timing is absolutely perfect. Sure, Rex and Mimi broke up long before they left Salem. But they could found their back to each other and hooked up long enough to produce a child.

One-Night Stand
Lucas has another brother that viewers haven’t seen or heard from in a couple of years: Philip. He’s not exactly a family man and has always been a bit of a playboy. It’s possible he had a one-night stand that ended in a pregnancy.
Somehow Bonnie found out about it, tracked down the mama, and made her a deal to take the child off her hands. Just like Rex, Philip would share DNA similarities with Lucas. Hence, test results wouldn’t have ruled Lucas out as the kid’s pops.
Baby for Hire
Perhaps little Bon Bon isn’t actually related to anyone at all, but the child of one of Bonnie’s old prison mates. The gal couldn’t afford to raise a little one by herself. So when Bonnie offered her cash for her baby, she eagerly handed over her diapered darling.
As far as DNA tests proving Lucas is the daddy, they could have easily been tampered with. A con woman like Bonnie has ways of getting things like that done, one way or another.
