Nicole is back on Days of Our Lives! But she is still guilty of murdering Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Which means she and Eric still can’t be together. Not as long as Alexander (Paul Telfer) has anything to say about it.
But what’s a Greek psychopath who jones for rubbing Eric (Greg Vaughan) out in the face of true love? Should Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric get back together no matter what? Almost 6,000 Salem soothsayers made their wishes well known.
Stay With Me
The only way 45% of you will accept an Ericole reunion is if both characters remain on the show. There is plenty of story to mine there.
That starts with Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) role in their initial separation, to Eric’s engagement to Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), to John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) trying to figure out what the heck both their boys see in this scheming liar. But you want to watch it play out, not a happily ever after off-screen.
A second place 40% agree, but, in your case, it’s only Eric you insist on remaining on the canvas. You don’t want a reunion if it means Eric leaving Salem and his family. Nicole, however, can go wherever. They can do the long-distance thing. They can visit on the weekends. But Nicole’s happiness is not worth DAYS losing Eric!
Go All the Way
Fine, go, 12% of the audience dismisses, run off and be happy together, don’t worry about us. We’ll just sit here, alone and abandoned.
If Nicole is what Eric needs to make him happy, you’re willing to let them both walk off into the sunset with Holly – and no murder charge for Nicole. Of course, they’ll have to get past Xander, first. At least that will be fun. But Xander can go, too.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
