Months ago, Soap Hub reported that Vivian Jovanni would be leaving the role of Ciara.
We can now report her last airdate will be Friday, May 26 when Ciara bids farewell to Salem, according to the Jason47 DAYS website.
While there’s no word on whether the character will be recast, SH feels confident that a legacy character like Ciara (a Brady AND a Horton) won’t be gone for good.
The character has been on the DAYS canvas since Hope gave birth to her in 2006. In 2015, Lauren Boles left the role so Ciara could be SORAS’d overnight and Jovanni took over.
At the moment, Ciara is being romanced by a man who is not all he seems, and definitely too good to be true. It seems Theo (Kyler Pettis) encouraged him to make Ciara happy by feeding him information about her so they seemed like soulmates.
With Ciara about to learn the truth, does it mean she’s going to leave town heartbroken to forge a life on her own, in college perhaps? That leaves the door wide open for the character’s return played by somebody else one day.
