Ciara Times Two? Old Or New? Should Lauren Boles Return To Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)?

We have a new Ciara on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL)! Victoria Konefal assumed the part towards the end of 2017, after Vivian Jovanni played it for nearly two years prior.

But the Ciara fans were truly attached to, the one they watched growing up on screen was Lauren Boles, who was Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo’s (Peter Reckell) little girl from 2008 to 2015.

The One and Only
You know how soaps operate! When 58% of you voted yes for Boles’ return, you specified that she should be playing Ciara, not another character.

We can’t blame you for being cautious. Not only does DAYS have Judi Evans as both Adrianne and Bonnie, but General Hospital (GH) has seemingly lost its mind, with their first two Carlys coming back as different characters while Laura Wright plays the part, and then there are the many versions of Roger Howarth and Michael Easton.

You don’t want any such bait and switches here. Boles should be Ciara… or no one at all.

We’ll Take Anything
On the other hand, 23% of the audience is so eager to see Boles back, you’ll take her any way you can get her, even as another character. The fact is, Boles is only 14.

So if she were to return as Ciara, that would mean she was the one raped by her stepbrother, and the one with the crush on Theo (Kyler Pettis). And that’s just too disturbing to contemplate.

Maybe she can be a relative of Ciara’s to explain the resemblance. How about an aged Allie Horton?
