If you found yourself emotional after watching Theo’s final scenes on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), you weren’t the only one! The actor himself posted his own thoughts to social media after watching the heartfelt goodbye.
Pettis first joined DAYS as Abe’s (James Reynolds) autistic son back in 2015 and had really grown into the role. We saw the ups and downs that Theo faced, trying to connect with others.
We got to see him fall in love with his best friend, Ciara (then played by Vivian Jovanni), even though she didn’t feel the same way. Theo’s heartbreak was hard to watch as he as he didn’t understand why his feelings weren’t reciprocated.
But we also got to see him fall in love with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and watched as they grew together individually and as a couple, navigating some of the usual (and not as usual) obstacles that couples go through. So when word came that Pettis would be leaving the show, it was shocking for fans.
Even though he finished shooting six months ago, those final scenes finally aired yesterday and they were incredibly emotional. So much so, that the actor himself was moved to comment about them and he shared his thoughts on Twitter. You can see his words below.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
