Off and on (but mostly on) since 1983, Kristian Alfonso has been wowing audiences as heroine Hope Williams Brady on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), and now she has a very impressive milestone under her belt.
The actress just commemorated her 4,000th episode and took to Instagram to share the news and posted a an on-set picture from a work celebration! Over the years, she’s had so many amazing moment as a tough rich girl who became a cop.
We have gotten to see her grow up in front of our eyes, meet the man of her dreams, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell for most of the run), and together they’ve embarked on adventure after adventure, from weddings and babies to grandchildren.
It was hard to believe we could ever accept Hope with anyone else, but after Bo died in her arms, we’ve watched Alfonso invigorate Hope with new… well… hope for the future. She’s fallen in love again, almost been killed, supposedly killed, and all the while she listened to her daddy when she needed to do so.
She even spent time in prison, and still managed to rise through the ranks of the police department to become the commissioner. Over 4,000 episodes, Hope has gone from precocious teen to a mother and grandmother at the top of her career and admired by all who know her.
Soap Hub congratulates Kristian Alfonso on this milestone — thanks for the incredible performances and moving memories!
