Soon after “Days of Our Lives'” Deidre Hall received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star, comes news that her boss will receive one as well.
Ken Corday, who has been executive producer of DAYS since the 1980s, will be honored with a star in 2017, according to Soap Opera Digest.
Corday started out as a production assistant for the 50-year-old soap in the late 1970s. , He soon worked in the show’s music department. By 1986, Corday became DAYS executive producer. He also grew with DAYS, as his parents, Ted and Betty Corday, created the legendary soap in 1965.
During the 1988 Writers Guild strike, Corday also took over head writing duties. He has won numerous for his work both producing and writing music. Corday is also a book author.
