It wasn’t that long ago that Kelly Thiebaud made news with her return to General Hospital as Dr. Britt “The Britch” Westbourne fresh after a recurring role on Station 19. Now comes word that she’ll be paying a visit to Salem as the gorgeous actress is about to debut on Days of our Lives.
Kelly Thiebaud Switches To Salem
As most DAYS fans know, that role was shot long before the actress returned to GH due to the NBC soap shooting eight months ahead. News of this casting just broke in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest dated April 20, 2020, revealing that the actress will be playing the role of Zoey.
It appears that she will be playing a new lawyer in town, and she’ll have the unfortunate job of representing Evan (Brock Kelly). Viewers know that Evan is guilty of a whole lot — including killing the mother of his toddler son, David — Jordan (Chrishell Stause). Not only that, but he also kidnapped said child, who legally belongs to Rafe (Galen Gering).
One of the Most Hated Villains
The other distinction for Evan is that he’s the son of one of the most hated villains in town — Orpheus (George DelHoyo). The Salem PD (of which Rafe is a part) may hate everything that Evan has done, but if they have a chance to use him to get back-from-the-dead Orpheus, they’d do it in a red-hot second. Will Zoey have a secret agenda?
It is Salem after all — and there’s always the possibility that Zoey had connections to others, including Evan’s father. Could he have arranged for her to help his son but help him even more? Time will certainly tell. No word on how long this Salem stint will last for Kelly Thiebaud but it isn’t her first time in Salem.
Back in 2011, the in-demand star appeared as Alicia. As for her GH role, those viewers should expect to see more of Britt as she deals with her mother’s incarceration and getting back into the swing of things at General Hospital. Did she burn too many bridges with the nursing staff there last time? Stay tuned.
