Kassie DePaiva Returning to Days of Our Lives?

It looks like a shake-up in the Donovan family on “Days of Our Lives”.

Upon word that Jen Lilley has quit the show and suspicions that Theresa dies this fall due to the return of her on-screen parents Charles Shaughnessy and Patsy Pease, comes the news that Theresa’s sister may return to Salem in the form of actress Kassie DePaiva.

According to the Jason 47 DAYS Website, and its Facebook page that’s chock full of insider information, DePaiva and Eve will return to Salem, but there’s no word on if this is a short stint or longer contract role.

Kassie DePaiva was shockingly let got from DAYS last year when Eve was in the middle of a compelling grief story after daughter, Paige (True O’Brien) died. DePaiva (who previously played Chelsea Reardon on “Guiding Light” and Blair Cramer on “One Life to Live” and “General Hospital”) won an Emmy nomination for the role of Eve.

The last we saw Eve, she took off to New York to help Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) with her Julliard audition. She apparently stayed in The Big Apple, leaving the door open for her Salem return.
