Jonesing For Jarlena? Should John and Marlena Be On Days Of Our Lives More Often?

Days Of Our Lives wouldn’t be Days Of Our Lives without their super couples! But, they’re running a little low these days.

Bo (Peter Reckell) is dead. And Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) aren’t in the same league. Steve (Stephan Nichols) is… somewhere (but we hear he’s returning). While Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) plays doctor alone.

Everyone is breaking up or pining or cheating. John (Drake Hogysten) and Marlena (Dedire Hall) should be the loving couple keeping everything together. Yet they’re hardly seen. Should this duo be on more often? What almost 10,000 fans had to say:

Short Changed
The last time we saw much of either John or Marlena, they were wrapped up in Diana (Judith Chapman) being a whole new person — in both looks and personality — and claiming John fathered Leo (Greg Rikaart).

It turns out he didn’t. Also, Diana is crazy, and she’s the one who tried to kill Marlena. Marlena didn’t die. Yay! The end. All that led to 60% of the audience feeling gypped.

Those two should be front and center, having adventures that don’t involve Marlena constantly ending up in a hospital bed… and John taking off for yet another mission he can’t tell anyone about. Let’s try a little togetherness, shall we?

Tough Enough
On the other hand, 40% of you think you see John and Marlena plenty. How many decades were those two on the front burner? How about moving over and let somebody else have a turn.

Do you want super couples? Check out the sizzling Cin of Ciara (Victoria Konafall) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Or Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughn) reuniting — while Sarah (Linsay Godfrey) hovers on the periphery.

Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) have another wedding to plan, and something is definitely developing between Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash). John and Marlena can take a seat in the back.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
