On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), cop JJ just got out of trouble for his attack on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and now he’s about to be back in the frying pan for something much, much worse – shooting Theo (Kyler Pettis)!
Really, JJ? Really? Did you sleep through all your police academy training? Hope (Kristian Alfonso) isn’t the only one worried these days that you’re just not cut out to be an officer of the law. We mean, shooting Theo just is not cool.
Almost 6,000 viewers also felt the urge to play job counselor.
I Get So Emotional, Baby
Remember how, in Men In Black, Will Smith was given a test where he was walking down a dark alley in the middle of the night and confronted with various figures? His job was to decide who was an alien and who wasn’t. I.e. whom to shoot and whom to let pass. When he fired at the cardboard cut-out of little Susie, it looked like he had biffed the test.
Until Will pointed out that an eight-year-old has no business being out in the middle of the night – and carrying advanced physics books.
Obviously, she wasn’t human.
JJ (Casey Moss), 60% of you feel confident, would have failed that test. He doesn’t think, he just acts. He’s too impulsive to be trusted with a badge. And a gun.
Gimme a Break, I Sure Deserve It
Aw, he means well, coo a soft-hearted 39%. Yeah, well, tell that to Theo. I’m sure once he hears that JJ didn’t mean any harm, his bullet wound will magically heal up.
JJ is charged with a public trust to protect and serve. Wanting to do it is no excuse for doing it badly. Police work isn’t an everybody gets a trophy kind of activity. If JJ really want to help people, he can try volunteering at the Horton Center. And not as a security guard, either….
