The mother of a Hollywood superstar and ex-wife of a veteran soap legend passed away. Nancy Dow, who was married to “Days of Our Lives” star John Aniston (Victor) from 1985 until 1980 passed away from a long illness, according to daughter, Jennifer.
According to People Magazine, Jennifer Aniston announced the death yesterday, telling the magazine, “It is with great sadness that my brother John and I announce the passing of our Mother Nancy Dow. She was 79 years old and passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends after enduring a long illness. We ask that our family’s privacy be respected as we grieve our loss.”

While Dow was known as the mother of a Hollywood A-lister, she also had quite the career herself. She was both a model and actress, having appeared on shows like “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “The Wild West.”
